Epoxy floor coatings
Sealed, bright and easy to clean. Most garages are coated in one to two days and stand up to salt, oil and Chicago winters.
Where it works
- Garage floors, one to four car
- Basement and utility rooms
- Workshops and pole barns
- Small commercial floors
Finishes
Full-flake is the garage favorite: colored chips under a clear topcoat that hide dust and tire marks. Solid color is clean and uniform. Metallic is hand-worked for a marbled look at a higher price. All get a slip-resistant topcoat on request.
Prep is the job
Coatings peel when they go over dirty, smooth or damp concrete. We grind every floor, fill cracks and check for moisture before anything goes down.
The process
Clear the floor
You move cars and items. We can move heavy things for a fee.
Grind and repair
Diamond grinding, crack fill, moisture check. Dust is contained.
Base coat and flake
Broadcast to full coverage, then scraped smooth.
Topcoat and cure
Walk on it the next day, park after a few days.
Common questions
How long before I can park on it?
Foot traffic the next day. Vehicles typically three to seven days depending on the system and temperature.
Can you do it in winter?
Yes, if the garage stays above the product's minimum temperature while curing. We'll tell you if you need a heater or a better date.
Will it peel?
Not over properly ground, dry concrete. Peeling comes from skipped prep, which is why we grind every floor.
What about existing paint or coating?
It comes off. Grinding removes old paint and failed coatings first.
How much does it cost?
Depends on square footage, concrete condition and finish. Send photos and the garage size for a same-day range.
