Quartz countertops
The fastest way to change how a kitchen feels. We handle measuring, fabrication, tear-out, install and the plumber to hook the sink back up.
What's included
- Slab and price-tier guidance for your budget
- Digital templating on site
- Fabrication at the shop, little mess at home
- Old countertop removal and disposal
- Sink and cooktop cutouts, undermount sink install
- Plumber to disconnect and reconnect
- Optional quartz or tile backsplash
Why quartz
Non-porous, never needs sealing, and consistent slab to slab, so what you see in the showroom is what you get. Use trivets for hot pans and keep it indoors. Prefer granite or quartzite? We do those too.
The process
Quote
Send a sketch with measurements and a photo for a range, confirmed at a site visit.
Pick your slab
At the slab yard or from samples. We show you where seams would fall.
Template
Sink, faucet and cooktop on site. About an hour.
Install
One to two weeks after templating, usually a one-day install.
Thinking bigger?
New counters often lead to a backsplash, new sink, painted cabinets or the whole kitchen. Start with counters and add on without a second contractor. See kitchen remodeling.
Common questions
How long from quote to install?
Typically two to three weeks from templating. The sink is out of service for about a day between tear-out and reconnect.
Will there be a seam?
Most kitchens larger than one slab have at least one. We show you placement before anything is cut.
Do I need a new sink?
Most people switch a drop-in for an undermount with quartz. We can supply one or install yours.
Can it go on my existing cabinets?
Yes, if they're solid and level. We check at the site visit.
How much does it cost?
Square footage, color tier, edge and add-ons like tear-out and backsplash. Send a sketch and photos for a range.
